Brian has more than 30 years of design & development experience with an extensive background in sensors, controls, analytical instrumentation & medical device design, as well as certifications in Medical Device Compliance. Responsibilities included EMI/EMC & Device Compliance as a lead technical interface to UL, CSA, TUV & Intertek. He was lead Project & Electrical Engineer on numerous successful new medical products, most recently a portable Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT), at-home Dialysis and an Automated Blood Processing System. Design specializations include micro-fluidics, robotics, control automation and sensor design, including Laser, FTIR & UV-Vis spectroscopy.
