Irina received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from New York City College of Technology. While her early career focused on enhancing the customer experience in a retail setting, she recognized the potential to leverage her skills in other domains, particularly in healthcare. 

At BH Design, her experience runs the gamut, including user research and its visual translation into infographics, ranging from contextual inquiry to the product life cycle, GUI design, and supporting Agile software development processes. 

She leads UX/UI design activities, setting a vision for user experience, and ensuring design consistency throughout the development process for medical devices, mobile apps, commercial scientific, and biotechnology equipment. In this, she takes a holistic design approach to ensure that the end product is deeply tied to user needs while also foremost ensuring their safety.
