Ryan has nearly 20 years of experience in mechanical design engineering within the consumer product, laboratory testing equipment, biomedical, aerospace/defense, industrial filtration, pharmaceutical packaging, and commercial foodservice equipment industries.  He has an AS degree in Engineering Technologies with a minor in Digital Design & Modeling, and certifications in Rapid Prototyping & Design, Engineering Technology Support, and a SolidWorks CSWA certification.

Ryan specializes in robust CAD modeling with a variety of CAD software tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor and AutoCAD.  He has experience working with most manufacturing methods including additive manufacturing/rapid prototyping, CNC machining, sheet metal, laser cutting & engraving, weldments, injection molding, RIM, structural foam, urethane casting, die-casting, thermoforming, and composites to name a few.

Ryan’s core strengths include design for manufacturing, assembly, and service (DfX), process and material selection, prototype development, design optimization, and pre-production builds.  He applies his extensive knowledge to streamline the design process, vendor selection, and coordinate lead-times for effective project management.  Ryan has seen numerous projects from inception to production, and collaborates directly with industrial design, human factors, and clients to preserve their vision while balancing manufacturing needs for a reliable, cost-effective solution.
